Two organisations that are committed to promoting the unprecedented development trajectory that has been set by the New Dispensation and preserving continuity of governance in Zimbabwe towards attainment of Vision 2030 and beyond, namely the premier monthly magazine EDevolution and Forever Associates Zimbabwe (FAZ) Trust, have joined hands, beginning August 2022, as they seek to showcase the marvel that Zimbabwe is becoming.
The Second Republic, under the able stewardship of Cde Dr E.D. President Mnangagwa, is catapulting Zimbabwe towards unstoppable development despite the prolonged strangulation of the economy by illegal sanctions imposed by Western powers since 2000.
President Mnangagwa has defied the sanctions and all negative doomsday voices within and outside, which have a proverbial death wish on Zimbabwe, to set the nation on this development path towards Vision 2030. Day-by-day, the evidence is there for all to see that this vision of turning Zimbabwe into an upper middle income economy in which all citizens enjoy a high quality of life by 2030 is both real and attainable.
Certainly, the President’s signature mantras such as “Zimbabwe is Open for Business”, “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo/Ilizwe liyakiwa ngabanikazi balo”, “Building our country brick-by-brick and stone-by-stone” and “Leaving no person and no place behind” have not only attracted the much-needed investments, both foreign and local, which are now flooding the economy but, most importantly, continue to rally the nation, including erstwhile naysayers, to put their weight and efforts behind the National Vision.
Indeed, we are masters of our own destiny. It needs no emphasis that, in President Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe has found the dreamer who acts and lives his dream.
This is what Zimbabwe needed most to climb out of the political and socio-economic strife that has been foisted upon our beloved motherland by the hybridised regime change adversity which is conceived, funded and orchestrated by the West since 2000.
Zimbabweans, working hard using the country’s own resources under President Mnangagwa’s leadership, have so far performed a near miracle on the development front.
The execution of life-transforming projects such as roads especially the Harare-Masvingo-Beitbridge highway, construction of bridges, airports, the Beitbridge Border Post upgrade and modernisation, and dams such as Muchekeranwa and Lake Gwayi-Shangani, has demonstrated that as a united people, Zimbabwe can develop and easily compete at a global scale beyond the expectations of the doomsday analysts.
The kind of vision that President Mnangagwa is championing and the pace at which his New Dispensation is delivering its goals, requires continuity of governance to ensure final completion. This underscores the importance of all well-meaning patriotic forces in the country to ensure that the forthcoming harmonised elections in 2023 do not have the remotest chance of disrupting this dream, vision and national progress by electing into office puppets of the West who have nothing to offer except hollow promises that seek to hoodwink the electorate under the guise of an alternative, yet their underlying purpose is, in reality, to reverse the gains of the liberation struggle and interdict the current development trajectory.
The above is, indeed, the context in which FAZ and EDevolution Magazine are coming together to support the Zimbabwean patriotic dream.
FAZ, to this end, will physically cover the ground campaigning in support of the Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) Party and its Presidential Candidate for 2023, Cde E.D. Mnangagwa.
It has, accordingly enlisted the services of EDevolution as its media arm. This entails EDevolution rebranding to EDevolution Media, a fully-fledged multi-platform media house with a much broader editorial scope focusing on the election campaign but still including devolution.
Beyond the elections, this partnership will continue with the same broad mandate.
